I am not sure how many of you know, but last week my Bunny Notebook was stolen at the food bank. The one with every single idea or prompt I have had in the past year, along with rough drafts and outlines of fics that I had intended on finishing/polishing. After mentioning this depressing turn of events tokueble, she suggested a Bunnython, and said I should post it in my journal.
So, I am asking for people's left over or unused bunnies, prompts, and suggestions. If you issued a challenge that wasn't met (Sunny) repost it here. Have a first lines or word usage challenges? Give it to me. I also have prompt tables for my fics in the side margin; if anything sparks your imagination--lemme know. Feel free to ask your friends and other flisters, and if you want to post this in other comms, go right ahead.

A Danny Love fic idea came to me one night in a dream, they were sitting around the table pitching their ideas to Webb. Rebecca has one where this guy is raping/killing men that have a similiar look, but then the MO changes, and the guys he's killing look like the detective who was investigating, then he turns up dead, raped and killed by the killer, and well you get where this is going surely.
Another idea for Jayne story is what if Nara's shuttle never made it back to Serenity in Out of Gas. Would everyone assume Jayne took over? Or did something else happen...
Can't think of any more of the bat, but if I do will post.

Sometimes, you can't go back home, because sometimes, home is more foreign a place than any crazy thing your imagination could create.
It has to be G rated (or PG at most)
The scenario has River giving a graphic, anatomically correct, description of a sex act to Jayne. Charts and sketches would be a plus.
Jayne, needless to say, is cocky and arrogant at first, then perplexed and then fascinated and full of questions regarding why women (or men) do whatever it is they do.
In my mind it is funny and sort of sweet, here is a young genius who has no experience giving a sex ed class to an older uneducated but very experienced man. River of course is basing this all on books. It would probably be even funnier if Simon were to barrel in, have a hissy fit and then accidentally allow the doctor to take over and get involved in the conversation.
That really sucks about your notebook, I would be destitute if something like that happened to me. I hope this helps in some way. If nothing else,you could go over and add a chapter to the round robin cracksmut. I should have taken your advice in the first place and asked the round robin folks to take over. If nothing else happens with it by the end of this week, I'll do it.

Between the crash landing, setting up for basic survival, petty arguments and life threatening issues...it made my brain hurt. Not that it didn't keep me from imagining more or keep it out of the realm of possibilities. Cause I am a sucker for those kinds of stories.
How about Daniel/Cameron fic where they're roleplaying Professor and Student? Maybe even Professor and his TA? I know how much you loved Daniel in the geeky academic flashback. Maybe Cameron has a thing for his brain, too.
Now...do I make it River/Jayne or Adam/Summer? Will have to check my prompts tables to see which set it fits best.

Of course, this could be Adam/Summer fic "Fear Play" because they are both afraid they are going to get caught but keep doing it anyway.
One thing I didn't consider was River sensing Simon's presence. If you can come up with an explanation for her not knowing he was close by, the story might work.

And, I had planned on doing something like this for the sequel to 'Just Like Simon' and just find myself never having the time, but I wanted to do a fic where Jayne's kids first word was Ape and Simon was there to see it take place. I find it tragic and hilarious all at once.

One is a Ricky Linderman fic based off of Bob Seger's 'Night Moves.' (don't ask. I don't know) And the other is a River/Jayne one.
I want to see someone write a honeymoon fic. Where they actually get to, like, take one of the shuttle's or get dropped off somewhere for a week ALONE together. Not on Jayne's home planet either. Like, they had a big job so River and Jayne decided to take the extra cash and get hitched then they decide to take an ACTUAL honeymoon.
Or a River/Jayne fic that involves shaving somehow. Either him trimming his beard or shaving it off for her or her shaving him. \o/ (That last one is a HUGE kink of mine.)

Research timeline--look for co-star pre-1987 to pair him with (not his wife not his wife not his wife not his wife not his wife)
Little did either know that they would suddenly be thrown back into each others world when someone from their close circle back in their hometwon started to commit serial crimes(possibly even followed in their footsteps, military and being a cop but always on the low end, barely passing end of the pectrum). First he began in their hometown, then he went to Hollywood (telling himself he could start all over again, that Danny Love lived out that way). He eventually moved out to NYC when he felt cornered in L.A. because he heard that was where Robert was now(telling himself again he could start all over again).
Little did Danny or Robert know that on the few occassions that they got a friendly phone call from their visiting friend, who was thinking of moving out by them, and called them out for a beer and some small talk not more then two hours after walking out the pub door he would kill again. Little did they know he killed Polly Peterson, their high school prom queen, in a fit of rage after a failed date and that turned into a sleuth of nameless, faceless female victims he came across hitching throughout the USA.
Danny and Robetr never saw it coming, 2 hours after seeing each of them he'd kill again and then he would sit there smug and happy because he finally did something that was not a failure. That he could get his predilictions past his "'cop buddies". It wasn't until the killer wound up in NYC and the VCU of Hollywood, or more like Virgil Webster, decided it wasn't a case that really interested them at the moment. It wasn't until Robert Gorren decided it was a case that interested him greatly.
What happens when these two teams wind up working together.. and what happens when these two men have to go home and come to the realization that all the clues were there over the years but neither of them saw it because they were just too close?
First off: Vinny and Adam? OMFG. How do I keep this from turning slashy, or can I insert something pr0ny so that it also fits a
Second: WOW! With the details and plot. *agog*
Third: This is definitely doable, just may take a LONG time. Something to work on in bits and pieces.
Fourth: I need to brush up on my Gorren knowledge because my eyes tend to gloss over (and I lose contentration) as I ogle The Other Pretty each weekend.
Fifth: I may have to add Logan too.
